Environmental/Sustainability PR Experts

Green marketing and environmental PR has become a major force in the post-Inconvenient Truth era. “Carbon Neutral” wasn’t even a recognized phrase not so many months ago, and now it is on the tip of every consumer’s tongue.

Kohnstamm Communications has been in the thick of this emergent school of PR from its very beginnings — well before certified organic labeling, the bovine growth hormone debate, and public water purity debates in the early 1990s. Today, the PR agency continues this legacy including:creating one of the first carbon neutral blogs. Vermont-based Seventh Generation came to our firm to better position its products as sustainability products with “big box” retailers. Our work helped move them – and the sustainable packaged goods industry – forward.

All of our clients seek strategies and recognition through Kohnstamm for “green initiatives” taken on by their organizations – including eco-friendly offices, zero CN footprint manufacturing, support for wind generation and other forms of alternative energy, among others. Kohnstamm’s longstanding experience in this space, and its ability to gain recognition for the great work being done, has not only served clients, but at the same time has moved the movement forward.

Client Testimonial

What I especially like about Kohnstamm is that they listen to our business needs, and then translate them into bold and imaginative community partnerships that work.

"Kohnstamm Communications provides conclusive proof that a boutique firm of 12 people can consistently get its clients prominent coverage. The myth that clients need a big agency with a New York presence to get top tier media placements has been laid to rest.
